Event Capital aims to expand the fashion week to hold large format shows in multiple Indian cities this year. Dates for the 2019 event schedule will be announced in April.

India Bridal Fashion Week was launched in 2010 and runs yearly to showcase luxury bridal wear by designers including Gaurav Gupta, Gauri Nainika , JJ Valaya Jyotsna Tiwari , Mandira Wirk, Manish Arora, and Manish Malhotra among others. The event has also seen celebrities including Kangana Ranaut, Jacqueline Fernandes, Sonam Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, and Sonakshi Sinha walk the runway. India Bridal Fashion Week also runs multi-brand bridal wear stores in Delhi, Noida, Jaipur, and Mumbai as well as an e-commerce store.
